And finally, my HG Gundam Heavyarms Custom is complete. I managed to find the time to paint and glue together the final parts to complete this model. The final parts that needed completing were the Twin Gatling guns, both of which were not glued together yet, and a little finishing touches to the opened missile packs on the hip, waist, and legs. The Chest Gatling Guns of the mobile suit too lacked any sort of painting when I left it. And when I wanted to continue this model when I came back, I didn't really know where to start. But finally, I started with the twin gatling guns, came up with a quick mixture to paint it, and managed to finish it in less than 4 days. This would be the very first model I actually fully hand-painted, it took a lot of work, but the work paid off. And now, to show you!!
(Above) These were earlier photos I took, but I never uploaded them in the previous post, this was the first few steps before painting, and my second try on using putty to remove seam-lines, the work was messy, I have to admit.

(Above) This is jumping straight to a few days ago, I tried the mixture I came up with, which was for the dark grey on the gatling gun 1 part Medium Grey and 1 part Flat Black, and the colour looked pretty nice for such a simple mixture. The barrels were painted with Metallic Grey.
(Above) The model cleaned up, and by this time, I had also painted the left shoulder armour, the internals by the way, so that I could display the missile pods.

The above photos were before I painted all the other parts, mainly the other twin gatling gun, and the opened missile packs. And if you notice, the white armour around the neck in the photos below don't have the black panel-lines anymore, I painted them over, cause it looked a little too messy.

So that's pretty much everything for this model, might be one of the best ones I made this year, but I'm also working on the anime version after finding the model in KL and buying it instantly. Well to sum it up, the mixtures used for this model. The White on the legs and other white parts (1 part Medium Grey, 5 parts Flat White), the Marine Blue for the wrists and other parts (1 part Flat White, 1 part Light Green, 1 part Flat Blue), the Black for the missile packs (1 part Flat White, 3 parts Flat Black), the Grey for the missile pods (Neutral Grey), Dark Grey for hands and joints (Dark Grey), Gold on V-fin, inside the thrusters and shoulder part (Gold Leaf), Twin Gatling Gun Grey (1 part Medium Grey, 1 part Flat Black), Metallic Grey for the thrusters, Gatling Gun barrel, Machine Cannons, Chest Gatling Guns and Vulcan Cannons (all painted Metallic Grey). That's all, finish!!
